Greenhouse Frog vs. Common Coqui
Both are small frogs from the Caribbean, brought in with nursery plants; neither has a tadpole. A: Only slightly swollen in the Greenhouse Frog; round sticky discs in the Common Coqui. B: Reddish-brown, finely bumpy, mottled or with two pale stripes in the Greenhouse Frog; grey-brown to tan, smooth; often a pale line or W in the Common Coqui. C: Red-brown in the Greenhouse Frog; dark, rimmed gold in the Common Coqui. Coqui call a loud ko-KEE; Greenhouse Frogs chirp softly like crickets. The Greenhouse Frog is smaller (to 1.2 in).
