Carpenter Frog vs. Green Frog
Both are brown-to-green pond frogs of much the same size, and both call all summer. The Carpenter Frog has no dorsolateral ridges at all: its pale back stripes are flat. The Green Frog has a raised ridge down each side of the back that stops short of the hip.
