Mink Frog vs. Green Frog
A Mink Frog looks like a small Green Frog. Go to the hind legs first: a Green Frog has dark bands across them; a Mink Frog's are covered in irregular mottling and spots, with no bands. Then look along the back: a Green Frog has a ridge on each side running from behind the eye most of the way to the hip; a Mink Frog's ridges are missing or only partly formed. Handled, a Mink Frog smells strongly musky, like a mink or rotten onions, and its call is a fast cut-cut-cut rather than a single banjo-like gunk.
