Mink Frog vs. American Bullfrog
Neither has a full ridge down the back. A Bullfrog grows far larger, its back is plain green to brown or finely speckled, and a fold of skin runs from the eye and curves down around the eardrum. A Mink Frog is small, boldly mottled and spotted on the back and legs, smells musky when handled, and calls a fast cut-cut-cut instead of a deep jug-o-rum.
