New Jersey Chorus Frog vs. Spring Peeper
Both call from the same flooded fields in early spring. A New Jersey Chorus Frog has a dark stripe through the eye and down the side, a white line along the upper lip, and three broad dark stripes down the back. A Spring Peeper has a dark X between the shoulders and no white lip line. The calls are nothing alike: a rising, comb-tooth crreek against a single clear peep.
