Seal Salamander vs. Northern Dusky Salamander
Both are stream duskies with a pale line from the eye to the jaw and a keeled tail. A Seal Salamander is larger and stouter, with a bold pattern of dark worm-like lines and blotches on a pale brown back, and an almost unmarked pale belly. A Northern Dusky is duller brown, its pattern faint and fading with age, and its belly is mottled.
