Great Plains Toad vs. Woodhouse's Toad

Both are large toads of the western plains. The Great Plains Toad has big, paired dark blotches outlined in pale and crests that meet in a boss on the snout. Woodhouse's Toad has a pale stripe down the middle of the back, smaller dark spots, and crests that stay apart. By ear: a long jackhammer trill against a short nasal bleat.
